1156. JenniferHarcourt : I have created this profile for my Mum who would like to find her daughter which she had adopted against her will‚ but she was under 16 at the time and this is how things used to be done‚ in the old days! Unfortunately‚ my Mum has a terrible memory and so she cannot remember the date of birth of her baby girl‚ not even the year. She had named the baby Marion but she has no papers‚ certificates or document. The baby was adopted out straight from the hospital and almost certainly have a completely different name. The only certainty is that the baby was born in BATTLE HOSPITAL‚ in Reading‚ likely somewhere between 1965 - 1967. This hospital has now been replaced by the Royal Berkshire Hospital. It’s not much to go on‚ but definitely worth a try!
