Some of the questions on here don't quite fit my enquiry.
I am trying to find some details about my fathers birth parents. My father who was adopted is long dead (as would his parents be) but I do have his official adoption certificate from Tower Bridge Juvenile Court.
I have tried Barnardo's to no avail and wondered what else I could do.
I am looking to understand our family history‚ and my father who didn't get on with his adopted parents and understanding his perspective on life would be interesting.
I hope you can help.

2190. Phil1966 : In around 1974 (or 1973) my mother gave birth to a baby boy‚ in London. We do not share the same father.
He made contact with my mum (and my sister) in Bath around 1995‚ though I was living abroad at the time and did not know about this until afterwards.
I believe they met a couple of times‚ though I do not know why the contact ceased.
I think his name is Andrew and he lived in or near Coventry as a child‚ possibly moving to Cardiff as an adult.
My mum's name was Sue. I believe his father was called Michael‚ and he also lived in Bath.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
