2064. MmMichelle1985 : I grew up in south London England. I am not sure where i was adopted or when. i do not know my DOB‚ (although i must be in my mid to late 40's) i also do not know my name or where i was born. Information has been withheld. it is very hard to find anything through the courts or social services if you have nothing to go on. when i have contacted GRO they said that if the adoption took place in the UK my certificate would be annotated or they would be able to locate the original birth cert. as far as i have been led to believe my parents will have been a mixed race couple with connections to America and the Caribbean . I am under the impression that they were forced to part with me but i am prepared to believe that may not be true. i would like to know more about my origins and any family including siblings i may have.
the form will not allow me to put unknown in some of the options so the dob on here may be conflicting.
2066. CarolanneW : Hi i am searching for my son Kye. He turned 18 on the 23rd June 2025‚ He was born in Lewisham Hospital in London. He also has a sibling who is also adopted by the name of Harley he is now 19 and i am searching for him also. I know they used to have direct contact with each other when they were younger but I do not know if they are still in contact. if this information sounds familiar please reach out. Thank you
2067. RobertHolt60 : I was born Glen Hurley on 30th May 1965 in Dulwich Hospital‚ South London. My mother was Sheena G Hurley aged 22 yrs at the time‚ she was a typist. I do not know my fathers name but he worked as a shipping clerk and I understand that my natural mother and father worked together in the same office. Unfortunately he left the firm and broke off the relationship when he learned of the pregnancy‚ which is very sad.
I understand that i was adopted a few months after my birth by Leslie and Joan Holt who i grew up with as my adopted parents. This was done by The Church Adoption Society.
I would love to find out about my mother and‚ if she wishes and is in agreement‚ get in contact with each other to find out more about myself and Sheena my mother.
