1816. Justme11 : I was born at the North Middlesex hospital. I was one month premature.
1817. Gabby_h : Searching for information for my father-in-law who was adopted in England. Paul (my father-in-law) was put into a foster home around 18 months of age then adopted when he was 5. His birth father’s name was Roger Cripps‚ birth mothers name Jill (we think). Wondering if Paul has any other family out there.
1819. GlynWin : I am searching on behalf of a friend who had her daughter on the 18th August 1968 in a mother and Baby Home in Buckrose‚ East Riding of Yorkshire. She was only 15 herself and had no option but to have her little girl adopted. She nursed her for 6 weeks before she was taken from her. She has never forgotten her‚ nor have I
1820. Bchrissy : Am searching for my adopted sister pat boyse at birth..Born 19th may 1962...Her mother is Alice A Boyse.she lived in Burdett road Bow london e3 at the time when the adoption took place....the Social Services at Bow..was involved at the time...i last heard that she was living in Chelmsford. i rang the social Services there but no outcome of her...would dearly love to find me younger sis...any information would be really appreciated thank you..
1822. LindaB222 : At the time of my birth‚ my mother’s name was Susanna Louise Jackson and she named me Nicola Mary. I was born in London.
I’m searching for my birth parents and/or any close family.
1824. DeeDee1312 : My dad was adopted around November 1930 in Wimbledon and Merton area of London he was about three years old but he was born to a lady called Alice Crabb who lived on a farm with the rest of her family and extended family in Uploaders Dorset. It looks like she was a housekeeper at another address at some point and also looks like she was married when she had him and he had older siblings I think she died in 1958 but she was still married to the same man all the way through so I can’t understand why she gave my Dad up for adoption unless she had an affair or could not afford any more children I would like to meet my dad’s birth family especially as he had siblings who may well have gone on to have children. I have been to Uploaders and feel connected to the area. It would be nice to meet family as my dad was adopted and was an only child to the adopters. He would have loved to have siblings and as his children we have missed out on uncles and aunts. I’m almost 60 so don’t want to leave it too long. There are no hard feelings just curiosity as to the circumstances. My grandson has red hair and I believe that may well have come from my dad’s birth family. I might do the ancestry 123 DNA to see what matches come up it’s very sad when you’ve got family and you just don’t know them all those years wasted
