She explains in a letter to the wife of Dr. Gamble that they adopted my father from a school in France however I never located any adoption record and that seems highly unlikely. My hunch is that my grandmother had an affair with Dr. Gamble. My father later goes to live with Dr. Gamble. I would like to find out who my grandmother was.
