1426. TracieBate : My name is Tracie Bate and I was born at Royal Women’s Hospital Paddington on 25th April 1962. On my birth certificate it states Norma Carrick (nee Knowles) as my mother and Alan Carrick as my father. After receiving DNA test results back‚ it appears I am linked to two different families that have no connection to my parents. I have applied for adoption information from Dept. of Communities and Justice‚ awaiting a reply. My ’mother’ passed away when I was only 11 years old and aside from my sister that is 20 years my senior‚ I have no contact with any other family. I am searching for my biological parents and any siblings. I have traced by father to possibly be Harold Emanuel George from the Singleton area in NSW‚ via DNA results and other family tree searches. My mother’s side appears to be of Italian heritage. My daughter Melanie is helping with this search and will be the main contact for me. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am searching for my brother who was adopted from birth in NSW from‚ im told‚ a home for unmarried mothers. My mother Barbara was sent away and her first born was taken from her. The home was run by nuns and she was treated poorly. The baby‚a male‚ was born between the years 1953-1957. She later went on to have another 9 children. I would dearly love to reconnect with our very large family
1440. DanielNicholasKing : After wondering privately for many years whether this is the right thing to do‚ I am now resolved to attempt to find my birth parents or any information about them.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
