Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In New South Wales adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from
the government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.

There were 5 other children Stella put up for adoption. Thanks Kate

1191. JRFW : I was born in Sydney Australia my adopted mother told me my biological parents were from New Zealand. I had a name of my biological parents which I don’t have anymore. My ex wife was from New Zealand and she traced them to the Picton area South Island New Zealand
1193. Beratull : Born in Hornsby NSW (probably Hornsby Hospital where all of the adoptions took place back then).
Mother’s name: Judith Fairfax Johnson
Transported to adoptive parents in Brisbane Qld at about 1 month old.
1194. MissBoots80 : My grandfather Keith William Bootle (born 31 Aug 1928 in QLD) conceived a child with his girlfriend Cynthia (surname unknown) when he was 14-15 years old. Sadly his girlfriend’s family sent her away when she was pregnant‚ and the baby was put up for adoption.
I was only told this revelation recently‚ and my father only knew of a brother‚ not a half sister.
We would dearly love to get in touch with my aunt‚ as my grandfather has now passed away‚ as has my grandmother‚ hence the ’secret’ coming out.
I have all the identification needed to apply‚ so please advise the best process for doing this.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards‚
Tonia Barton

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
