856. Kmwalsh1970 : Looking for my Aunt Sue. Birth parents: Lorna Jean Swan and Arthur Alfred Lawrence Swan. Sue was born at the Royal Hospital for Women, Paddington, NSW, in 1955.
She was the second eldest daughter. Older sister, Rhonda, brother Colin and youngest sister Glenda.
857. Karoy24 : We are looking for our half sibling. The only information we have is father Barry Roper from Belfield and Mother Carole Sharpe from Box Hill Nsw. Only have just found out and hopefully we can make a connection. Your last name maybe Johnston
Karen
858. Davidhenro : My birth certificate says I was born at Western Suburbs Hospital (Benevolent Society) at Waratah in Newcastle NSW Australia.
My medical records state that my birth date is "self claimed" so im unsure if this is my exact age
859. Dlee60 : I am looking for proof of my great grandmothers aboriginality. Her name was Anna Strickland‚ with no apparent father. My grandmother’s name was Emily Arlene Rose Strickland/Beaver. I am thinking Beaver may have been her adopted surname and she eventually married my grandfather Percival Charles Mogford in Blayney NSW
862. LeeM : The information my adoptive parents told me was that My birth mother was a 21 year old single woman who named me Christine, I was born in Sydney women’s hospital and was adopted from the Salvation Army in Marrickville.
Other than that I have no information
865. Margotwooler : Born 13/12/1967 at Crown St. I know my original name was Connie. I have previously looked for my birth mother many years ago and unfortunately she had a veto in place. I am hoping that perhaps my birth mother might be now looking or maybe birth father or any family members might be looking. I have lost my paper work from my previous search during a few moves but I am hoping to find family.
866. TheaTherese : I gave up my daughter for adoption in September 1983 through the Catholic Adoption Agency in Wagga Wagga.
I named her Thea.
Her adopted parents named her Sonia.
Her adpoted parents lived in Western Sydney and she would be a younger sister to adopted little boy.
My name is Sharon and your fathers name is Peter.
867. 091219 : My mothers name is Lorraine O’Donovan.
Her mother Henrietta O’Donovan took her on the train from Katoomba to Sydney & the Crown Street Women’s Hospital in Surry Hills NSW to give birth to me. She had just turned 19 My biological father is unknown to me but was known to my mother. Both my mother & adopted father Kenneth Francis Rooney are both deceased and did not share my adoption with me. This was recently done by my great aunt & confirmed by my father’s only surviving sibling. I’m presuming I was adopted in 1957 after my parents had married in 1955 & subsequent birth of my brother, Michael, in 1957. His birth was registered in March 1957 but my registration is October 1957 even though my DOB is 9/12/1952.
868. Margotwooler : I was born in Crown Street. I know my original name was Connie. I am looking for family members. I know my mum was in a home at Camden before the birth.
870. HelenSW : I was born in Hornsby Hospital (NSW) 12/06/1966
Understand birth mothers name may have been Janet?
I have no further details of my adoption. Curious as to any information I may be able to find.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
