778. DanielWindle : I believe my father was born Onslow King. He was known as Stanley Ivan Windle, but didn’t know who he was adopted by, if he was adopted. He lived with a number of families growing. We have a birth certificate saying his birth date was 21.09.1917, but he believed he was born in 1915. The Certificate names Mary Louisa McLaurin (family name King) as his mother, no father mentioned. A notation at the bottom of the certificate states Stanley Ivan Windle was previously registered as Onslow King.
