942. Sandra1975 : All I know about my birth family is that my birth mothers name was Maureen Ryan when she gave birth to me in 1975 and she was from Sylvania in NSW. My birth father did not know that I was conceived as my birth mother had ended their relationship before she told him. They were in a relationship for about a year.
My birth mother worked three jobs and was adopted herself. She had had a great life with her adopted family which is why she decided to give me up for adoption in the hope I too would have a wonderful life. She was right‚ I could not have asked for a better family to be adopted by‚ I was loved and care for just like their own.
Some might ask why I am looking for my birth family when I have such a great family. I always wanted to know "where I came from". My parents helped me start my search when I was 18 and we found my birth grandparents however my birth mother had not told her husband about me and my grandparents were respecting her privacy and no further contact was made from both parties. My birth fathers name was not on my birth certificate so I do not know very much about him except the follow.
In 1975 my birth father worked as a technician with the P.M.G Department. He had two younger brothers who were also P.M.G technicians and he also had a sister. His mother and sister did not work and his fathers occupation is unknown. When i was born my birth father was 22 years old 5’ 10" solid build‚ dark brown hair‚ brown eyes and olive complexion. Today my birth father would be around 69 years of age. I do remember being told once that my birth fathers name was David however I can not confirm that with any actually evidence.
