1578. Lanakathleen : I am searching for information regarding my great grandparents and grandparent. My great granparents came from Denmark - only know grandfathers name as Veny Olesen and on the voyage to Queensland Australia my grandfather George Olesen was born in approximately 1880. George eventually married Clara Bourke who was from Balina New South Wales and they moved to Sydney and had three children. I believe they landed in Rockhampton or Bundaberg Queensland Australia and I also believe the family worked in the sugarcane industry when they arrived. I have been searching for records - no avail - I know George Olesen had a brother who we believe moved to WA Australia‚ but that is all we know. Does anyone have any ancestry that would tie into this information at all. Would greatly appreciate any info or suggestions about how I can continue this search
