1052. JLouiseA : The mother’s name is Josephine Adam and she was sent to Sydney to have the baby from her home in Werris Creek NSW. It would have been arranged by her mother Dorothy Thomas through an order of nuns. The Josephite nuns were active in the town. She has spoken of staying in Manly a suburb of Sydney NSW so we think this is where she stayed until giving birth. The baby was given up for adoption around the time of the birth.
1054. WILLIA15 : The birth mother would have been Shirley Greta Busch born 1928 in Windsor‚ NSW. She had spent most of her life in Sydney‚ mainly Central and Hawkesbury‚ she was married in Yass in May 1944 at 16. Her first child of this marriage was October 1946. It was alleged that the child may have been adopted into the Davis family‚ and that the birth was in Sydney.
