I have recently found someone through DNA who could very well be my half brother, who is 15 years my senior, so I am trying to make contact with Moira Brady Hannan Schiffer to find out if she can give the name of who my birth father was/is. Gave birth to Leanne May Crowe/Baby Crowe on 26 March 1964 at the Women’s Hospital, Crown Street, Sydney.
According to documents I have recovered, in 1964 she had:
> green eyes
> fair skin
> light brown, curly hair
> and was 5’9" (or 175cm for us metric people)
She was a typist.
Her father was in the army and her mother was a shop assistant.
She also had two brothers (one still at school in 1964 and the other a cadet administrator).
It was also mentioned in her paperwork that she was ’of Monaro Hostel, Cooma North’ in 1964.
Any information you have is greatly appreciated, even if it is just connecting me to someone you may know that lived in Cooma in that period.
