Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In New South Wales adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from
the government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.
A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within New South Wales Who Chose To Be Featured
826. Tanyaxlee : My father was adopted in 1970, and I haven’t been able to find my grandparents/aunties ect.
I definitely feel i am at a dead end in my search!
828. Connect2021 : Hello my name is Maria, I was born in September 1972 in Newcastle NSW. I am trying to locate my birth father and half siblings. My birth father goes by the name of Joseph King. Siblings may have the surname/maiden name of Psarros. Would love to make contact, at a minimum to find out medical history and nationality of grandparents. Happy to provide further information on contact. Kind Regards Maria ๐
829. Connect2021 : Hello my name is Maria, I was born in September 1972 in Newcastle NSW. I am trying to locate my birth father and half siblings. My birth father goes by the name of Joseph King. 830. KimEadie : I was born at Eastwood (Ryde hospital)NSW Sydney and my Birth Parents Names were Michelle Grace Maller and Fathers name was Rodney Ragnar Maller.
832. Agoldrin : Whilst I don’t have a lot of information‚ I understand there is a link to the first name Noel and surname Rice. There was also a link to Glebe in Sydney.
There is nothing more I have as background.
835. ROCKYDAM : Born Deniliquin NSW? Others say Robe SA? Possibly Melbourne. Adoptive parents married Hamilton VIC 1879. Possible Blood Aunt adopted Ruby Gertrude maybe a McDonald‚ Robert Heddle McDonald was her Guardian or parent stated on school record.
836. Melissa_Lever : My mother was 15 or 16 when she had my sister in New South Wales. I’m not 100% sure, but I think that she had the baby under the name Elizabeth Hume (Hulme?), which was an assumed name. Her actual name was Elizabeth Lever. My sister’s pre-adoption name was Belinda and she was adopted immediately after birth. I don’t know if it was a closed adoption, but considering it was in the early 1970’s, I would assume that it was. I don’t know if she wants to be found, or even if I will be able to find any information about her. The things my mother told me were very vague, and it’s difficult to broach the subject with her now. I’m not even sure of the exact year of birth, or the month and date. I wish that I knew more. I would love to connect with a sister, but I don’t want to hurt anyone along the way. I know it’s a long shot that I could find her, but I hope that one day I will.
837. Katta1970 : I am looking for my natural parents. I know my Mums name is Rosemary Belson I would truly love to meet her after all these years and my natural Father if they would allow. Rosemary was a Ballet Dancer at Sydney Royal Ballet company.
840. Kimclementsj29 : Mum said her name was kim

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
