My Mum gave birth around 15 yrs of age about 1967 at 15 yrs of age. She gave Birth to a Boy she named Greg or Gregory. She was forced to sign adoption Papers even though my Mum and Grand Parents had planned to bring Gregory home. I think he was born early June 1967. Please help. My Mum is passed but I have been a only child and would like to approach the chance of finding out or contacting my long lost half brother.

1221. AlanKealley : require information about Evelyn Mavis (born Dyer) who was born at Nurse Lloyd’s Private maternity home in Subiaco‚ Western Australia. Her mother was Lena Florence Dyer. Father given as husband Ernest Dyer‚ but he was on duty In England 1916-late 1919. So Evelyn’s father is unknown. Evelyn was not officially adopted out in WA as no records exist. She may have been privately adopted to friends or she may have been adopted out in NSW as Lena returned there in mid 1919. Any information would be welcomed.

1222. Cambridge1975 : I was born in Bankstown hospital in NSW and I was 6 weeks old when my adopted parents came to take me. All I know that my birth parents were very young my mother loved animals and worked at the veterinary clinic and my biological father was a boilermaker. My adopted mother said my name was Sebastian B cant remember the surname as she seen it on the eye drops bottle as I had an eye infection at the time.

1230. Pamelap61 : I have only recently discovered that I have a half brother. My mother passed away January 2023‚ and 12 months on I found out that she had a baby in 1947. She had a boy‚ and all I know is that her mother took her to Sydney in either 1947 or 1948 to have the baby. I have been told she named the baby Alan‚ and I can only assume she then put the baby up for adoption. I have no idea where to start looking‚ although I have just ordered a dna test‚through ancestery.com my mother’s family were catholic‚ but I can’t assume she went to a Catholic home for unwed mother’s. my mother was born 14.3.1928 and passed away 29.1.2023
