I was 24 week gestation and required a lot of care weighing at approx 500grams. I believe I was at the hospital for 5 months to reach birth weight. I was given the name Rhonda Jane (my adoptive Mother changed this to Megan Kay). As I am now 66 I do not believe my birth parents to be alive.

My biological parents were married and couldn’t afford to raise a child. In an extremely rare coincidence I was adopted into a family with the same surname WALL but It’s not a family adoption. I was raised knowing I was adopted and loved my mum & dad‚ my 2 brothers (also adopted) have found their biological family and I would love to have that recognition of looking like your parents like they do.

1034. Pbhicks : I am Looking for my older sister Judith Marie Hicks‚ born 10 June 1957 to Mary Rose Hicks(19) later Moodie‚ at St Margaret’s Hospital‚ Darlinghurst N.S.W. My mother passed away on 8 May 1989 after many operations and years of ill health and my aunt Patricia Ward(now deceased) was making enquiries and I have a sheaf of letters to various govt departments to no avail ‚ I believe she was told that Judith (as she was then) had taken her name off the register some years before. My mother requested her sister to make enquiries and I have only recently rediscovered notes about my mother’s teen years. She would possibly have auburn hair‚ blue or hazel eyes and freckles‚ as my late mother and my grandmother were both redheads (as I believe was the father). My mother was always regretful but as a strict Catholic things were different back then I believe.
If there is any way of getting in contact with her—- I would love to finally get in touch‚ even if just by email…

1035. Lyndel : Gwendoline Butler gave birth to a child in either Hobart‚ Tasmania‚ or Syndey‚ NSW Australia in either 1929 or 1930. Gwen resided in Hobart Tasmania and is recorded to have been pregnant in late 1929 while living in Hobart‚ Tasmania. Her family relocated to West Sydney‚ NSW in December 1929 where they remained for about 12 months and then returned to Hobart Tasmania. Gwen was aged 14 at this time.
The family kept this a secret and it has only been discovered in recent years that Gwen gave birth to a child. Gwen’s movements are unknown after 1932 ish.
