My birth mother was a Fijian national and had been working on a cruise ship‚ the ship docked in Sydney for 3 days and she gave birth to me and put me up for a adoption for a better opportunity at life. I was born on 17/09/1979 and stayed in hospital for six weeks until my adoptive family were selected and came to pick me up. I know I have an older sister who was in Fiji and my birth father was part Fijian part British and served in the Navy. My birth mother’s name is Rosie‚ if you are out there I would love to meet you. I just want to let my birth mother know (if she is still alive) that I have had a great life with my adopted parents (who are both now deceased) so that she can have piece of mind.
