Brendan is the eldest, then a sister 41, myself 39, then our ‘baby’ brother, 33.
No agency I am aware of, my mum did stay with Brendan for up to 6 weeks in the hospital following his birth, not sure of the reasoning behind this.
We assume he was adopted by an Australian family, as far as we have been informed, his adoptive parents have not told him he is adopted. I have unsuccessfully tried to find Brendan in the past, incredibly frustrating and upsetting. He is our full brother, we have the same parents, my mother will never be complete until she sees him again, we won’t be until we meet him.
Our father is estranged from us, by choice of his own. He ignores all three of his children as well as three grandsons. He lives in the same town as my sister and her children and continues to verbally abuse her and my mum publicly at any time. We have tried to reach out to him many times, he suffers from depression and bipolar, is a gambling addict and was both physically and emotionally abusive for the entirety of our lives with him, especially to our Mum. He will not be involved in the search for Brendan.

412. Michael19 : My mother went to Australia in 1950 and returned to England in 1955. I found out (after my mother passed away) that she had a daughter whilst she was in Australia, she moved around a bit staying in Melbourne,Brisbane and Hobart (Tasmania). I have checked government adoption depts in mainland Australia and there is no record of any adoptions with a birth mother named Dorothy Ward so I’m assuming that the birth was in Tasmania in 1953.
414. Kelley1962 : The birth mother’s name was Barbara Marion Burns aka Glossop. She grew up in Orange NSW and was a nurse. The birth father’s name is Clive Thomas Bennett. Barbara gave birth to a boy somewhere in Sydney in 1961. The father’s details were never recorded on the birth registration. Barbara married Ronald Milton Miller in 1962 in Sydney.
I am the daughter of Clive Thomas Bennett and Lesley Helen Quinlan. I was informed by my father in 1983 that I had a half brother but I haven’t been able to get any help in finding him.

My mother remarried a year later and my step father adopted all three of us children.
We were not aloud to speak about our biological father and were never aloud any contact with him.
I’m now 34 and need to find my dad, he is apart of me that has been missing, all our photos and things were taken away so I haven’t even seen a photo of him.
