1489. Lyndasmifff : I am putting this up for an elderly friend who does not have the Internet. She is looking for a sibling‚ born at Gosford Hospital. It was her mother's 5th pregnancy and the Dr concerned [now deceased] had pressured her throughout the pregnancy to have the child adopted‚ because of her family's poor economic situation. Twins were undiagnosed‚ and mother was sedated during second birth. Only took one child home‚ a son named William‚ who was half the birth weight of her previous babies. Father's surname DENNISS‚ mother's maiden name McKENZIE‚ both deceased. William is also deceased. His son‚ is awaiting Ancestry DNA results. that I will have access to. Any help appreciated.

My birth father was apparently a mechanic in Sydney also Heydon Harvey

I have reason to believe my older brother is alive‚ and has been placed in adoption or foster care.
He would have been born around 1992‚ give or take a year.
The birth place would have been the John hunter hospital‚ and the birth mothers name would be Sylvia Johnson (Nee Hunter)
And the fathers name if recorded would be Michael Monaghan.
I have had no contact with my brother‚ and I was raised by these same parents‚ so I very well assume this was a closed adoption.
I was told that he was dead‚ but I cannot find a death record and I believe that he may be alive.
There is a good chance that he may have sustained a disability or utero injuries‚ as it has been said my mother fell down some stairs during the late stages of her pregnancy.
Something seems super off about it and I believe my brother is alive somewhere.
I need to know what happened to him. My father has told me what he can‚ and my sister too‚ but they are both entirely unsure on the dates‚ and neither had ever sighted him. The only one to see him was my mother. And she does not have a picture of him‚ a death record‚ or anything. She isn't the nicest person‚ and was neglectful as we were growing up as my sister confirmed‚ she could have left him at the hospital for all we know at this stage.
I'd just like to find him.
Even if it's just to know that he exists and what he looks like.
Even if it's just to find out that he did pass.
I do not wish to pass this information on to my family myself‚ however‚ if I find him alive‚ I am happy to share their contact details to him so that he may contact them himself if he so chooses.
1496. Jemma1968 : My son was born in Nepean hospital and was re named Michael Laurence surname withheld. Adoption was carried out via Catholic Adoption Agency in Sydney CBD. This agency to my knowledge has ceased operations.

1499. Martkath1966 : My birth mother’s name is Diane Codling and she was 19. Birth father is not on certificate so have no idea who he is but would love to meet him as well if possible. I was adopted out at around 6 weeks old and was born on 30 September 1966 in the Camperdown Children’s Hospital and my birth mother gave me the name Leanne. My adoptee parents have now both passed and were wonderful parents. I have been thinking about doing this for over 30 years but was always hesitant and the time is now before it’s too late.

I was named Maureen Carmel McReynolds by my adoptive parents. I had a good childhood‚ but would love to make contact with my birth mother and any siblings that I may have. The only information I have is that my birth mother was 16 years old and quite tall.
