I was adopted out shortly after birth‚ possibly a private adoption to Eileen & Harry White‚ who lived in Ingleburn NSW at the time.
After completing an Ancestry DNA Kit‚ I have had contact with my birth mothers family‚ but not my birth fathers family. I am interested in finding medical information for my daughter as her husbands family has an extensive medical history.
I am curious‚ but nervous about meeting biological family. My adoptive parents have since passed away. They gave me a great childhood. They were very caring and loving. I don’t have any ill-feeling towards my biological parents.
Whilst I would love to meet birth family‚ I will also understand if they don’t want any contact and will respect their wishes‚ but would really appreciate if they could let me know either way.
742. Peteranthony : I am looking for my birth mother/ older siblings ( 2 boys I believe) I am a male was born in Sydney NSW‚ October 4th 1956‚ my birth name was Stephen Anthony Sullivan. I was premature by 4 to 6 weeks and weighed between 4 and 5 pounds.
My mother was married but I was the product of an affair and my mother was given the option to give me up or lose her husband and 2 older boys. I was adopted not long after by a married couple from Dubbo NSW. Joyce and Walter Hill. I believe my biological mother’s name was Margaret but am unsure of the surname but I believe on the original birth certificate it was her maiden name not her married name.

745. 29dec1966 : Elizabeth Clariss Naday is the Name of my birth mother on my adoption papers‚ though the surname may be incorrectly spelt as I have not been able to find any names spelt this way. Apparently my birth mother had a daughter approx 20 months older than me and not adopted. Linked to a Postal box address in Tamworth in 1966. I have searched back in late 80s and her name does not come up on any registered searches. I am curious to find my birth family roots which is mentioned to come from Essex in England.
