986. MeganKayRhondaJane : I was born in Newcastle hospital NSW on the 5.12.1955. I have been advised that I was born to a married couple who already had 5 children. They could not afford to keep me. I was 24 week gestation and required a lot of care weighing at approx 500grams. I believe I was at the hospital for 5 months to reach birth weight. I was given the name Rhonda Jane (my adoptive Mother changed this to Megan Kay). As I am now 66 I do not believe my birth parents to be alive.

My biological parents were married and couldn’t afford to raise a child. In an extremely rare coincidence I was adopted into a family with the same surname WALL but It’s not a family adoption. I was raised knowing I was adopted and loved my mum & dad‚ my 2 brothers (also adopted) have found their biological family and I would love to have that recognition of looking like your parents like they do.
