1130. Mbthom : When I was about 18 years old, in 2007, my social worker made contact with my brother. His name is Troy, birth name was Paul. He was supposed to meet me but backed out. At the time he was living in Ontario and I believe his adopted birth father had passed. I am looking to once again make contact. I believe his adopted parents were/are from the Okanagan. He is 2-3 years older than me. Our mother is Naomi Smith and he was likely born in Ridge Meadows hospital.
1131. Susielovessean : So.. I don’t have a lot of information, but this is what I’ve been told to be true.
I was born on September 17th 1969, at St Joseph’s Hospital in Victoria BC Canada. The adoption was finalized on October 6th 1969. Apparently I was small… I don’t remember.
I did an ancestry DNA test that revealed that I was mostly of Celtic decent more than likely Northern Ireland or Scotland, with several other markers from all over the place.
I was adopted legally through The province of BC.
