I was sent to the Marion Hilliard Home for Wayward Women in Kamloops, B.C. Canada . The arrangements were made by the Burns Lake Ministry of Social Services. I signed the adoption papers 10 days after she was born. I named her Vanessa Denise Marie. I am not sure if her adopted parents kept her name the same or changed it. I was told that when she was old enough she would be told she was adopted.
