1563. Nannienita : I am looking for my first & only grandson. I raised him with his parents for the first 7 months of his life‚ until his parents did a home invasion in Port Alberni‚ BC. Canada. They ran from the RCMP and were picked up in Calgary‚ Alberta where Scott James Rotar was taken from his parents. His father was brought back to Port Alberni‚ BC to go to court on the charge. His father was diagnosed as schitzofrenic‚ bipolar & sociopath at the age of 42. When Scottie was taken from his parents‚ his grandfather Rick Rotar & his Uncle Tao Karkabe had put their names in to adopt him. They both dropped their requests when the foster parents told them they wanted to adopt Scottie. I was not told about this until years later. I had searched for Scottie through the Minister of Children & Families in both B.C.‚ Canada and Hamilton‚ Ontario. It took 3 months to hear back from the Children & Families regarding Scottie‚ who I loved with all my heart. I was told about his grandfather and uncle wanted to adopt him & asked if I had a preference. I suggested Tao‚ as Scotties grandfather had other children with his new wife. Tao and his wife had been trying to have a child for some time. It was not until years later‚ I found out they dropped their requests. I would have taken Scottie had I known.
