292. Chadkootnekoff : My birth certificate says I was born in Kamloops British Columbia. My adopted parents never gave me any information and still to this day will not. Not sure why I am assuming they are ashamed a little or may be keeping something from me as my mother has kept many truths away from me throughout my life. I am now approaching 40 years old and want to know if any hereditary diseases I should worry about and also would like to know more about my lineage. My birth parents may or may not be alive but I would love to know their story. Thank you so much.

294. Tumblingdice : My sister passed away in September 2014. She was 56 years old and although we did not talk about it much‚ I know my sister had a child when she was younger who she gave up for adoption. I believe the child was a boy but I’ve since been told by someone else in the family that they thought it was a girl. I could have sworn my sister had said it was a boy so already I’m not in the best spot to try and locate her child. I believe the baby was born in 1979 but it could have been 1978. I do not know which month or day the baby was born. I also believe the baby was born in Fort St. John‚ B.C. I know this is not much to go on but I feel I need to start somewhere. So thank you for any help. It is much appreciated. Sincerely‚ Carol
