Magaparsec : I know little about my father’s life before he met my mom but I know he had a girlfriend who was pregnant in the 1969/1970 and she she gave him up for adoption, possibly to a family from Campbell River. My father did go to court to try and get custody of the baby but was turned down by the judge and the adoption went through. My father’s name is Cedric Aulando and he came to Canada in the 1968 from Brunei. His Chinese name is Haw Eng Au (Aw).

I was fostered by a family who knew my birth mother called the Brindamore ( they are no longer alive to obtain any info). My adoption took place when I was around 18mnths old but was placed for adoption at birth.
