He was in a sort of foster care type situation from what I understand and his mother did fight to get him back however he was adopted out. Not 100% sure of the circumstances
869. Smithj62 : Hi
My mother had a child before I was born. He was taken from her right after he was born and adopted out. We believe the adoptive family name is Kuhn. Baby boy and he was born July 23,1961 or 1962 at Burnaby General. The family we believe adopted him lived off the Barnet Hwy in Burnaby. The younger sister of the adoptive father was friends with the birth mother (my mother) and my mother spoke of her often as being a friend in school when they were teenagers. Her name was Linda Kuhn.
Thank you for any information
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
