1651. Bradley314 : I was born in New Westminster‚ BC on 03/14/1969 and from what I'm told I was adopted at birth. Very limited information about my birth parents other than they were quite young and some research inclunding Ancestry.com providing the surname 'Bibby' which may or not be anything concrete.
1653. MateoSmith : Father Jason Smith‚ Mother Tara Jarocki. Adoptee named Damion‚ unsure exactly of spelling. Born after 1997‚ possibly in/near Vancouver. Possibly Alberta.
1654. Kathybotsis : We are seeking to find our half brother. Father's name was Ted and Mother's name was Leona Last name might have been doravaki‚ bordolaki. Our Father met leona in northern BC - he is not listed on the birth certificate. He would very much like to meet his son that was adopted. If you have any information about a Leona that lived in Northern BC possibly Prince George. Please reach out. We desperately need to find our Father's son.

1659. Twinsister2 : My brothers and I discovered a baby bracelet from St. Vincent Hospital‚ 30th May 1960‚ for a baby girl born about 25 minutes before my brother. Our mother is dead and we have no other information‚ but wonder if she (the twin girl) was given up. Our grandmother was a psychiatric nurse and social worker who placed children with foster families‚ so she could have arranged a placement. Greater Vancouver area most likely.
Other possible surnames:
Stainsby‚ Gibson or Knox.
1662. Mum1951 : We found out recently that our Mum (Ruth) had a baby girl years before she met & married our Dad. She was from Summerland in the BC interior and came to Vancouver just before the baby was born at Vancouver General Hospital. We believe the baby was given up right when she was born and was called Allison by her adoptive family. We also think she lived in Vancouver until she moved back east (possibly Ontario) to go to university. We are open for more contact with her.
1664. Glambsd76 : Hello‚ I'm speaking on behalf of my friend. Recently‚ we were chatting about his family & based on what he told me it became painfully obvious that he most likely may have been adopted. He was born May‚ 1970 & grew up in Vancouver‚ BC & has lived in southern California for many years. Apparently his parents did not freely disclose if he was adopted or not. I guess he never brought it up to them either but from what he told me‚ he looked nothing like anyone in his family. They all had dark hair‚ dark eyes where as he has blond hair‚ blue eyes & fair complexion. Just so you know‚ he's aware that I've started reaching out to see if he's adopted or not.
1665. JamesD65 : I was adopted at 6 days old in the lower mainland of British Columbia. I have met my mother‚ her name was Sharon. I have not met my father‚ but have been told his name is Brian. As far as I know both were in Calgary‚ AB. My mother was from a fairly religious family and went to visit her sister during her pregnancy and I was born in British Columbia. My mother returned to Calgary after I was born. I met her when I turned 18. It was a private adoption‚ the person who arranged it was named Gwen (last name possibly Nelson)‚ who I've been told has since passed away. I did my DNA‚ I'm 54% Norwegian (mother's side)‚ 42% British or Irish (father's side)
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
