I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’. I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well... I found out that I was adopted after my Mother(Wheeler) passed away in August of 2015 (Cancer)... Her best friend told me.... I was stunned to be honest...for the last 36 years of my life... It was a lie 🤷🏻♀️... My Father(Cormie) passed away several weeks ago (Alzheimer’s Disease)... So I have no leads or contacts other than the research I’ve found.... I’m not mad, or upset as to the ‘Why’... In truth I am curious about my heritage, genetic disposition (diseases/medical conditions/etc…), I just want to be prepared for when I get older and my son grows up... My name at birth was Aaron Daniel Langager (not quite sure if the last name is correct, but it’s close) and was changed to Aaron Peter Rude. The only other piece of information I have is that I had a brother who was about a year older than I and adopted some time before me. There’s a chance he doesn’t even know I exist and that he has a younger brother. I would like to find him as well. However, a meeting will of course be only if they want the same and not necessarily all together at the same time.
