1039. Bergie : I’m looking for Bonnie ( Bonita) Harper who is my birth mother. She was 16 or 17 years old when she gave birth to me. She originally named me Michelle Harper. I believe Bonnie went on to be a nurse....in Victoria, and she had another child, a boy. For 4o years I thought I had a half brother out there. Unfortunately I learned in my research that the child passed away at 1 year old. Her mother’s name is Olive Harper and father Harold? Harper. The adoption took place in Vancouver BC Canada, at the Saint Vincent Hospital. The doctors name was Dr. Rhuubsaat who was our family doctor and was involved in the private adoption and delivery. I’ve been trying, and thinking about finding my birth mother for decades. I’m hoping this will help my search.
