1641. Girlnorth8 : Looking for our brother born in late 1957‚ early 1958 to Helen Maras of Nelson British Columbia. We think he might have been born in the Vancouver area‚ but not sure‚ or the Nelson area and likely in a Catholic facility (hospital). Helen was a school teacher in the Burns Lake area (Southbank School) when she became pregnant with our father's child and left the area. We know that when she left after the school year ended in June 1957 she was pregnant. That's about all we know...and would really like to find our 1/2 brother.
1644. Garryzuest : His name was Bradley Zuest‚ adoption center was in Maple Ridge BC‚ Canada. His mother was Karna Kosti‚ or Costi‚ birth place was either Burnaby or New Westminister BC. He was roughly 2yrs old when passed over to the agency. Possibly adopted by a husband and wife paramedics on Vancouver Island. THATS as much as I know.
1645. SarahGallaway : I'm wanting to meet my cousin if he wants. Born at Grace Hospital‚ now known as BC Women's and Children's Hospital. All I know is he was born between my two younger brothers. No one in the family was given the opportunity to take him. He was given up at birth by my paternal aunt.
1649. KTFamily2026 : All we know is he was adoped from Victoria BC in 1986
I'm searching on behalf of my younger brother. Both of us were adopted but from different families and 20 years ago I found my birth mother through a website similar to this one. My brother tried to seach on his own around the same time and we came up with nothing after 5yrs of even paying for govt. searches.
He's put it out of his head for many years‚ he has now adopted 2 children and had two natural children with his amazing wife. Our family is quite close and every now and then we'll talk about him looking again but not wanting to be disappointed. It hurts my heart because he watched me find my birth family and it just extended all of us both family's are fairly close and even visit across provinces.
So here I am‚ hoping to find some blood relatives for my brother so he can see where he came from. His genetics are strong his son is a carbon copy and he'd love to know where they get it from.
Thanks for reading
1650. LaureenKeogh : I am looking for my birth father. He gave up parental rights to me when I was approximately 7 years old. In approximately 1979?
I believe his name to be Bruce Provan. And has lived in Burnaby‚ on Vancouver Island and I believe he now lives in Quesnel BC.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
