1363. BKCCooper : My mom, Peggy Jeanette Raynes Crisp (b. 4-4-1931 - still living) lived in or around the Nashville, Davidson County, TN area at the time my half-sibling was born. My mom was an unmarried minor at the time she became pregnant during a relationship with a much older married man. I do not know this man’s name, but, I believe he passed away in or around the Nashville, Davidson Co., TN area sometime between 1960 and 1970 . My grandmother (Jeanette’s mom), Mildred Irene Stephens- Raynes-Haley would have most likely been the one to handle the adoption procedure. My mom, Jeanette Raynes Crisp, currently lives with me. She will not tell me any specific details other than she had a child who was placed into adoption very soon after the child was born. I am just concerned for the half-sibling for whom I am searching. I don’t even know if they are still alive. But, I want to help with reconciliation and healing for both my mom and the child while (if) my half-sibling is still alive.

She also live in Hawkins County Tennessee! The biological father is the same as mine and his name is Lawrence Blaine Mowell he is still living and currently resides in Hawkins County Tennessee! The sibiling that I am looking for was born as Thomas Blaine Mowell, I was told the name may have changed upon adoption! I was also told that he was adopted by a family in Church Hill Tennessee!
