363. Elizabeth1207 : Hi, I am looking for my sister who was born in County Cavan, Ireland in August 1957. My mums name is Lucy Reilly who was also from County Cavan, Ireland.
On my sisters original birth certificate her name was Mary Brigid. I believe that she was adopted by an american couple and taken to America, but I don’t know how true this is because of the secrecy that surrounded adoptions in Ireland in the 1950’s.

365. Notmyname : I was born in Richmond VA at the Medical College. My birth mother was 22 and my birth father was 26. Their religion was listed as Catholic and I was placed in a Catholic home. I was transferred as a newborn to St Peter’s Home for Children in Memphis TN. I was placed in my adoptive family’s home in October of 67 and my adoption was finalized in TN Oct 68. I have had a lot of health problems starting with a hereditary blood disease shortly after my being placed in my adoptive familly’s home. In 2002 I was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation and had brain surgery. Other biological relatives may also be going through these issues.
366. LibbaFine : I am a female adopted from a Knox County Hospital in Tennessee in September of 1955. I am told it was a welfare adoption. I have no knowledge of any siblings as it is not noted on my certificate. There was a discrepancy on my birthday, first being told the 22nd of April, then the 26th, but finalizing on the 24th. I was in a foster home for close to 5 months and called Jeanetta. I rolled out of bed and was kept for observation. I was allergic to cow’s milk and had to be fed goat’s milk. The attorney was a Mr. Robinette in Kingsport, Tennessee. I was the second child adopted by Martha Francis Woodfin and Darrell Doyle Fine of Kingsport, Tennessee and had an older brother, Darrell Steven Fine (2015), 2 1/2 years older that also was adopted. I grew up in Sullivan County where my parents lived until their deaths in 2008 and 2011.

Also not sure what year you where born, but my best guess is the end of 1968 or early 1969, as your mother was back in MN in the mid to late 1969.

So many story’s don’t know truth. When I was taken by the state she lived on Broadway in trailer park that no longer is there. I long to see someone that looks like me and reconnect with no judgement. I have no idea who my father was. I was adopted and lived in Kingston. Adopted family lost all records of my blood family.
