A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
1576. Jward722 : When I was 18 and away at college I gave a baby girl away. I was going to TSU in Nashville. I used Small World Adoption Agency. They told me that they named her Madison and maybe used my 1st or middle name as hers. My name is Jacqulyn LaRue ward. I received pics 2 times but I have not seen her face in photos since she was 13. I have asked throughout the years since I got the last set of photos for updated one but no luck. Before she turned 18 I tried really hard to get some info from small world but they were very unhelpful. I really want her to know I have always thought of her and believed that I was making the right decision. I want o meet her and know her and be a source of love for her even though I didn’t know how to before.
1577. U263934 : My father was born Sept. 28, 1950 in Austin, TX. He was white and his parents were white. There was the name of Albert Alsenz listed as his father but I think that might not be true. I am almost positive the mother was Alice Marie Lane Alsenz. Albert was born in 1911 in Brooklyn, NY and Alice in 1927 in Shandaken, NY. Both parents stated they had other children from other relationships either already adopted out or in foster care waiting for papers to be signed so they can be adopted. The only indication of where these children are is the mother said she had a child in foster care ’up east’ with the parents wanting to adopt the child which may have been a boy. The Alsenz’s lived in Austin, TX in 1950-1952 and in Kansas in 1956. The Kansas census has a Donald and a Jack Alsenz listed as being with them. I don’t think these were Alice’s children. I think they were the children of Albert and a Ruth Kniffen Alsenz Hartman Olsen now buried in New Orleans, and they were visiting with Albert and Alice, with Ruth being the person in charge of them. Let me know of any info, please, by sending a message.

1584. MarcusBishop : I only know that my birth mother was most likely Caucasian and the birth father was African American. There are more half siblings out there as well but I know nothing else‚ sadge.
1585. Matate1968420 : I’m trying to help my husband locate his birth parents and or siblings. He was born 6/22/1975 in Crossville Tennessee‚ Cumberland county. According to the stories he has been told he is birth mother or father kept him till he was 8 or 9 months old he was then turned over or given we’re not sure which two a home or orphanage ( not sure which one just know it was run by 2 older ladies and there was older girls there but no babies he was the only boy also ). According to stories we have also heard the only thing that he knows from his pre adoption is that either his first or middle name was Anthony‚ which was changed upon adoption due to already having multiple Anthony’s in the family. We know his post adoption birth certificate says he was born in Crossville Tennessee Cumberland county but that is the only concrete information that we have.
