A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
256. Hannahgirl55 : I have photos with the lawyer‚ social worker‚ and judge that oversaw my adoption‚ but i have no other information. When I was in foster care for 2 weeks‚ the foster mom’s daughter wanted to name me Angel. I was born in Dickson county‚ and my mom was in college I believe. She wanted me in a Christian home. I was also given a baby book about my adoption. I’m blood type A+ and the note from my mom said that she would always secretly celebrate my birthday and that her relationship with my dad wasn’t the kind to raise a kid. I know that my father worked at Cedar Point for a while.
259. Jeniferjuniper : Judah is our son , he sees our other three children occasionally because Crystal and Benjamin Carringer have much to do with Melissa and Joe Irvin, who have tried to keep Christian, karma and Gavin, through the courts. They waged this battle when our income could not SUSTAIN a legal battle, but michael proceeded to obtain his CDL and we are fighting from a stronger stance. Christian is scolded by Melissa, and forced to change the subject whenever he tries to discuss Judah’s origins with him. We are interested in working on an expose. I have submitted all the details to a scriptwriter through an attorney, to document these goings-on. Underhanded and opportunistic, but all is not lost . . . kids turn 18!
260. DaleMoore61 : Looking for biological family members.
Was told my mother was around 25 years old, and heavily involved in the church. She was a piano player I am told.
I was adopted by Donald and Margaret Moore (Peggy Smith (M)) in Nashville, TN, Davidson County.
My adoptive parents were told by Hospital/Agency I had to go back because I had jaundice. Several months later, they came and took me home again.
Any help to find my roots will be greatly appreciated.
Dale Moore
262. Shastygurl : The adopted baby boy was from somewhere in Tennessee. Bio mom was pregnant and the bio dad was in jail or prison somewhere around Memphis I do believe. Adoptive parents were Mel and Elizabeth "Ruth" Cooper. Mel Cooper was of Scottish descent and had served in the US Army. That is all I know.
263. Mhkeebler251 : My mom was adopted in Tennessee when she was about 4 months old. She ended up in Knoxville. I am trying to find her birth parents. She is super smart and had super blonde hair and blue eyes. She was born on January 1, 1957.
269. GoldLeeLee17 : I was born August 13,1980 ,adopted from the Baptist children’s home in Chattanooga TN on approximately November 24,1980. I believe I was born in Medina Tn
