1099. LIrichardson01 : I gave birth to a male child at The Baptist Hospital in Nashville TENNESSEE April 18, 1979. Attending physician was Dr. JILL Chambers. Adoptive parents
Was given a photo of me and the child’s FATHER at a school dance. Adoptive parents were located via a,social worker and adopted the child upon birth. In the photo I had on a long lilac prom dress with white lace on top with spaghetti straps. The Father had on a dark grey suit. I believe he had a cane I the photo (from a car accident). I have a short Dorothy Hamill haircut. We are both married now, having found each other and being torn apart when the baby was born. We want to find our son . I had zero representation or counseling.
The pressure the social worker placed on me a 13, was unbearable. She made me feel I had no choice. Papers were brought to my hospital bed to sign, while I was in recovery still under Anaesthesia. I was told the child would want for nothing. The Adoptive parents I was told, paid for my medical bills, I do not know who arranged that
Transaction. I was not allowed to hold the BABY and was told by the social worker it would be unfair to name my Baby. Even though I expressed I wished to do so. The birth certificate read, Baby boy Ingram, my maiden name.

I got my adoption records open & Sheila Hamm was listed as my birth mother & Johnny Allen Bonds jr. Was listed my birth father but I found his family & we are not DNA related, so he can’t be my dad.
I was born in Memphis Tennessee. Shelby county . I have an older sister Tracee Lea Wallace, 2 younger brothers. William Malcom Bonds, & Booby Wayne Smith Jr. Us girls stayed together during adoption & our brothers stayed together & we’ve all stayed in contact. Our adoption parents are now deceased & that’s why we are searching now. Thanks for any help!
1102. ComlyWhite2019 : My father was taken away and adopted back in 1942. For many years he knew very little about his biological family. He knew his father’s last name was White and he was taken away from his mother, because his biological father was never home or supporting him and his siblings.
In the late 90’s his biological niece found him and showed us some of the family including her father which was adopted as well. As well as his mother Nellie E. Poush White, his half siblings, Beverly, Bill, and Jerry and his biological father Denver Thomas White.
When I had the opportunity to talk to Denver, I asked him how many aunts and uncles I have. His answer was he was a truck driver that drove from coast o coast and he had a warm bed and cuddle buddy at every stop.
So I am looking for my biological family that are the children or grandchildren of Denver Thomas White.
If that names sounds like someone you know please, please contact me!
