A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
166. Lorrielee30 : My birth daughters name at birth was Kara Colleen Lee. She was born April 30, 1992 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tn. The closed adoption was carried out through Bethany Christian Services. The last day I saw her was May 25 1992.
167. Kmontooth21 : I was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on July 21, 1987. I was given up for adoption through the Baptist Children’s home. My birth mom wrote me a letter & at the age of 16 years old, my adopted parents gave it to me. Though it explained some of the situation, it was very vague about any information concerning her, other than she was very young & raised in a Christian home. I am interested in trying to find her, please help.
170. Wesgroth : Was born in Memphis on Feb. 18, 1985 at St. Francis Hospital. Moved to Nashville two days after birth. Looking for both birth mother and father.
172. Camilleh123 : My son is mixed mom /white,dad/black and my son would have been born missing 1/2 of one of his legs and missing some fingers on both hands. Born name would have been Tedrick S. Tomson
173. Flychild2009 : I am the biological grandmother of the adopted child. I know the my daughter had him in Rutherford county TN., in the City of Murfreesboro, at Murfreesboro Medical Center. The hospital is now called, "Saint Thomas Rutherford". I found a Social Security card, and where my daughter had filled out a mothers copy for a birth certificate. This was all discovered a year and half after my daughter passed away from Glio Blastoma Multiform. This is the main reason for trying to find the adoptive mother. Of course I would love to see pictures of my only grandchild. I don’t want to interfere or try and cause a problem for his parents. If the adoptive parents decided later to tell him that he was adoptive I would love and my husband to be a part of his life. My daughter died at a very young age of 28 years in February of 2015. I feel it’s important to let him know to see me or my husband later in life if he ever wanted to know who she was. I hope this information reaches the correct people and that they can responded any time.

179. Juliemartin : My name is Julie Martin. I’m interested in finding out about a child which I gave up for adoption in 2006 or 2007. I have deliberately tried to not acknowledge or even remember his specific birth date. I gave birth to him at St. Mary’s Hospital (now Tennova) in Knoxville‚ TN off of Broadway. I named him Evan Isaiah Martin‚ but don’t know if it’s been changed. I was told my the DCS worker that he’d in fact been adopted by a foster family after birth. I have his Social Security Number if that would help. I greatly appreciate any help with any information on him. I have no intention of trying to gain custody or complicate his life in any fashion if he has indeed been adopted. And I’d like to thank his adopted family in advance for any help with this.
