1653. MargaretPrusak : Hello there.
My name is Margaret (Maggie) Prusak..
The state of New Hampshire referred me to this website. I am hoping to find my adopted biological brother who was born in 1968. And adopted in Tennessee.
I was born in 1966 along with a twin brother.
My biological mothers name is
maiden name Dolores Alaburda
Married name Dolores Brown
She was originally from
Shenandoah‚ PA
Through her life‚ was living in Florida and New Jersey and New Hampshire.
Her husband name was Tom
Brown‚ but I do not believe he is the same father as the rest of the children She had 6 other children that were adopted between‚ New Hampshire and Florida and possibly other states that I am
not aware of.
If there is a chance you could please help me in any way‚ I would be forever grateful.
Best of Wishes‚
Margaret (Maggie) Prusak
Thank you so much.
1655. SamanthaB87 : My mother is Tamra Bashlor and the father is Donald S Brock. I am not sure if my brother was born is Baptist Hospital in Nashville TN or if he was born in Murfreesboro TN but it is one of the other.
1656. BBruce : I would like to connect to my daughter that we gave up for adoption. Just to tell her I love her and allow her to determine any further steps.
1657. Em43 : Please I need to find you. I am the Grandmother‚ I never had an opportunity to claim you. I would have and raised you. I have tried everything to find you. Nothing but walls. I need to find you.
1660. Anthony82sw : Hi my name is J Anthony‚ my birth name may have been Javontay. I was born in Memphis Tennessee on June 5th 1982. I was told that my birth mother had a few kids prior to me being born that were raised by the grandparents. I was adopted by a couple‚ my mother being from Memphis and my dad NY. We moved to NC right after my birth and I’m just looking for someone that this may ring a bell for.
1662. Scrivner : My son was given the name Adam at birth. His hair was red and his eyes were brown. He was loved. He was adopted through Family and Children’s Services in Nashville‚ Tennessee.
1663. Katherinevoiles : I am searching for my great grandfather’s birth family. His name is Charles Oscar Voiles. He was born on October 26‚ 1919‚ and he passed away March 18‚ 1992. I believe his birth last name was "Temple." I have struggled for years trying to find out who his real family was. I am not sure that he was adopted in Tennessee‚ that is just a guess based off of where most of my family lived at the time.
1664. Jonniebell : I’m looking for my maternal grandmother (or aunt(s)/uncle(s)). My mother passed away two years ago‚ but I’ve always been curious about her biological family. My grandmother will always be my gramma and will always be my mom’s mother‚ but I just have to know where I come from. I have only one biological grandparent out of the four‚ so it’s worth a shot at least. The story goes that my gramma was asked to babysit the one year old daughter of a friend‚ coworker‚ or acquaintance (it’s been so long since I’ve heard the story‚ I’ve forgotten exactly how my gramma knew this woman). My gramma’s first and middle name is Mary Charlotte. I am unaware as to what her last name was‚ if it was her maiden name or from her first husband‚ her maiden name is Bell‚ I’m not sure about the husbands name. She was 20 years old and went to school for her graphic design and accounting degrees. So‚ she was asked to babysit the baby and the mother didn’t return. Not for a year. My gramma told her if she didn’t want/couldn’t care for the baby‚ that she would adopt her. The woman agreed and my gramma cared and loved for my mom until her death. This would have happened in or around DeSoto County‚ MS/Shelby County‚ TN in the late 1960s.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
