A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
796. Zabbiegirl78 : Looking for my half brother (related through my dad). My half brother was named Steven David (after our father) and his mother was Debbie or Deborah Mann. I was told that he was given up for adoption around the age of 2 years old‚ possibly to a distant family member. Deborah Mann has a sister named Deanna Mann. I was told that my half brother’s birth date would be around Sept 1976. I think my half brother was born in Utah but could be wrong. I have no other siblings and would love to find you!
797. Kjackson78 : Looking for male born in 1974 between the months of May-October (give or take a month....this information is based on an unclear memory) at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Birth mother was named Glenda Kay Montgomery and would have been 19-20 years old (depending on the birth month of the child) at that time. She may have used the alias "McCarter" as her last name on the hospital registration.
799. RaymondS001 : Im A Honaker son . I know I have two brothers which was adopted with me . Our Birth Mother is Patricia Wilkes Honaker . Father Clarence Honaker . I’m searching any information on my Birth Family . My parents or siblings I haven’t met . The sons name at time we was took away . Clarence ,Raymond ,Jerry .
802. Markmccain : Born in Putnam County Tennessee March 24 1958. Adopted at 10 months old to wonderful parents in Maury County Tennessee. Would love to connect with my birth family.
803. Kay0403 : My father was adopted by Gail Phillips and Doug Phillips, his spouses are Leanna Jorgenson and Carla M. Upchurch. My father was always a troubled child with multiple arrest charges and drug addictions very rarely in the picture and I know very little about himself in general. My grandmother always likes to talk about him but never really brings up the adoption (mostly because there is little to no information about it) it was a closed adoption and no one ever really brought it up. As I grow older and get further in my college education it bothers me that I don’t know anything about half of my heretige. I really want to see if any of that side of my family is still alive and want to stay in contact and find out about more of my family history.
804. Tgannon1423 : My name is Tierney Gannon. I am looking for my half-sister who was born in April 1995. Her parents are Patrick M. Gannon and Abigail L. Haw (now Phelps), who met at Morehead Staate University. I do not know my sister’s name since all documents that I have access to only list her as "Baby Girl Haw" or "Haw."
809. Booboothefool : I was raised in Cookeville, TN. I am not sure the process was completely legal. No one has any memory of me before the age of 3-4. I have very few pics of me from that age which is odd b/c there are literally thousands from that age on. I have a birth certificate but can never find it on any online search. My mother kept me sick my whole life, in and out of the hospital for her own sick attention needs. I have liden gene factor 5, I am a heterozygote after having a miscarriage my mother told the doctor I needed to be tested for it. Apparently she knew I had it and never told me. I know now why she kept it to herself and even told people she had it when her medical records say the opposite. This proves she cannot be my biological mother and it’s strange but I can remember that odd sense that she wasn’t my real mother even as a little girl. She used to say she wanted to name me Rachel. That was also odd. My name is Alicia Schavon... I will list all of the surnames I can recall from both sides. Please message me with any help! Mother’s side- Robinson, Martin, Thomas, Graham, Kinnard Father’s side- Tollett, Henry, McCormick, Mccloud (these names are from who raised me) I have also learned my mother was married before and never told me... nothing pieces together. The area I have been in my whole life is Cookeville and the surrounding counties. I was delivered at Cookeville General Hospital (so I’ve been told) the Dr. James Shaw who delivered me was a multi-malpracticioner and my mom knew all the ins and outs of manipulating doctors. Wouldn’t suprise me if she had something lined up. This sounds absolutely horrible, I know but having a narcissistic abuser as a mother has been impossible to recover from. My father and his parents were my saving grace. If anyone has any tips or tricks to help me find who I am I hope you will message me and share b/c I am so lost.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
