1593. Cliftram : My uncle died several years ago and I would like to know the details. He was told his mother thought him undesirable and put him up at birth. I have a difficult time believing the story. He was adopted In Chattanooga‚ Tennessee along with his sister. Don’t know if she was his natural sister or not
1594. Searchingfaith : My dad was adopted in Knoxville Tennessee.
Boy born July 26‚ 1956. It was a private adoption. Birth mother requested that he was adopted out of state. He was raised in Alabama. I know the birth mother was staying with family during the end of pregnancy. The adoption allowed for my Grandmother to bring him home from the hospital after he was discharged at birth.
I would love to find out health history if nothing more. Unfortunately this is all the information I have.

When I was 36 years old my mother called me at work and told me the state of Tennessee opened their adoption records and I should call them. After that‚ she wouldn’t tell me anything else. This was out of character for her to call me and say something and just hang up.
1605. KionnaJay1 : I am looking for my brother ‚ his birth name given was Travis Vanness McKinley or Womack. He was born at Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga TN.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
