A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
271. BenMartinez : Searching for a male child born late October of 1987 to Misty Shelton name given at birth Adam Joseph Shelton adoption was done threw Holstan House* in Knoxville TN. It was an open adoption speaking with Misty the parents sent updates in the early 90s and the family was in the Pacific North West WA. and sent pictures. I am his bio. father Ben Martinez and would LOVE to know him and thank his parents.
274. DonaAndHeather : Baby boy born in Anchorage, Ak. At Providence Hospital. Mother’s name at time of birth was Dona Jo Wennersten. Father’s name is Harold James Bailey. Did have medical issues at birth. Had to have a blood transfusion.
275. BritneyJohns-NicS : I do not have his name but I do have birth mothers name, Kimberly carol (johns) Knight-married name of Ricky Knight. It was in the town of Clarksville (yes-like the monkees song, ’last train to clarksville’)...I was born June 10 1982 and adoption was finalized on June 15 1982, only five days after, even though I heard that was illegal in TN and the court is supposed to wait ten days before handing over child so that the bio father can come forward and make his claim. Apparently there was an article in some paper for 30 days for the father of her baby to come forward but I also heard that they can put it in a local paper of a totally different state so??!! And my parents lawyer for my adoption was Stanley B michaelman, who was indicted a few years after my brother was born and adopted. He did terrible things to so many adopted kids and their families on both sides and was on front page of New York magazine called ’the baby broker’...now when you google him, he comes up in articles called, ’The Pound Puppies’, meaning all the kids he put through to families for adoption. His records supposedly got destroyed in a fire years ago and now he’s dead. The doctor who I tracked down who delivered me also said his records were destroyed in a fire, and he’s like one of the few presiding Drs in that area and it was also one of Stanley b michaelman’s favorite states and town in TN to find babies to sell (basically) for adoption. I thought that fact alone was strange and no such thing as coincidence-but what do I know?! I hope I find anything I can here but it is websites like this that really help and make people like me feel that it is okay to want to know certain things, even when u have a family that loves you like you are their own. So I really thank you so much and truly appreciate this website that is available to me and others like me.. Thank you again and again so so much!!!!!!!!
276. Sarmstrong1220 : Dunlop, Sequatchie County, Tennessee. Mom was Helen Cagle Smith Narramore. Father was Grover Narramore. My full name was Shelia Ann Narramore.
278. ChrisO93 : My ex threatened me when she told me that she was going to be giving birth, so I’ve been to afraid to try and get in contact with my long lost daughter. Please, help me find my little girl, I just want to know her, maybe meet her while she’s still a toddler, and have that chance to hold her while she’s still small. And if her adopted family allows it, keep in contact with her so she can know her birth daddy. My ex’s name may not be on the birth certificate, as mine is not for sure, but her name was Sadie Carpentier at the time of the birth.
279. LisaJean63 : Looking for family of my birth father. His name was Frank Hawks. All I know is that he lived in the Nashville‚ TN area‚ he had red hair and freckles. He would’ve been born in the early to mid-1930’s and he passed away in 1997.
