My mother's sister‚ Ann Farrell (nee Skidmore) told me that my mother told her that she named my sister Ann and gave her up for adoption. My mother had two more children with a man named Rodney Bolin. I do not know them. I hope to find my sister‚ to know her‚ to love her‚ to be a part of her life. I always wanted a little sister. I am married with five children of my own and my brother‚ Michael is married with two children. I have DNA on Ancestry.com.

She also left a blue star sphere ring for me my adopted parents told me. I so badly just want to say thank you for giving me this amazing life.

2169. Janjan123 : Hello
My mother was born on July 30‚1957 and I know she was adopted at a few months old and her mother was told that her birth mother was a player at Georgia tech basketball at the time of becoming pregnant - never been verified or not.
2170. Mouse2125 : I’m trying to find my bio grandmother. My mom‚ Anne Walker Bridges‚ was adopted at 2 days old in Memphis‚ TN and I’m quite certain she was born at The Bethany Training Home. I have been able to find her bio father‚ Clarence Elmer Baker Jr‚ but unfortunately he died in 2014. I have been in touch with his daughter/my mom’s half sister and after asking around her family we are pretty certain that Clarence didn’t know my mom existed and no one knows who her birth mother was. Anne was adopted by Frank Gordon Bridges III and Patricia Carter Bridges. The birth certificate was changed to show Anne being born in Pine Bluff‚ AR. I’ve been told that either her uncle Lunsford Williamson Bridges or great uncle John Walker Bridges was the doctor that delivered her and that her grandfather Frank Gordon Bridges Jr was the attorney that did the paperwork. My sister tried getting the adoption records from TN vital records but was told they didn’t have any for Anne. I have done a dna test through Ancestry.com but so far all my matches on my mom’s side have been through her paternal side. Any information you can find I will be so grateful to learn!
2172. RogerWhitaker : My husband just found out he has a daughter. She was given up for adoption when she was born. He had no knowledge of her. The birth mother has passed away and the only information he has is she was born in a clinic in Greeneville TN and immediately adopted by a Dr there. This would have been around 1985 or 1986. He is devastated that he never knew about her and would like to try and find her
2173. Lynnsi : I found a picture of my mom‚ her sister and several unfamiliar children with an inscription on the back‚ saying it was when they lived in Como‚ Tennessee but they never told me anything about living there. In addition to that‚ some relatives were sent to the orphanage in Tiffin Ohio and some were put into foster homes. I didn’t meet my dad’s extended family but my mom’s family frequently visited. Upon my parents being told they had a short time to live‚ they told me there’s a chance someone else is my father. It sounds convincing to me. I constantly feel like I don’t belong in this family. I could be wrong but I want to find out‚ because I’ve recently been told I have a sister in S.C. but we can’t put any family together...it’s a big mystery to us.
2175. Meghanson : Clarence Arthur Wilson‚ he only exists in the record as an adult and I've never found the father that is claimed‚ I've also found slight possiblity of a name change??? He is either adopted or illegitimate and I don't know which.
