A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Tennessee Who Chose To Be Featured
526. Megasteinn : I am looking for my sister Amber. She, along with three other siblings, were adopted sometime around 2008. They should reside in Murfreesboro, Smyrna, or other Rutherford County areas. She has a sister named Anastasia, and two brothers Thomas and Wade. Amber should be a natural red-head, Anastasia should be blonde, and the two boys should have brown hair.
527. Acridian : Looking for my deceased Mother’s birth parents , Her maiden name was Melanie Lea Griffin and she was adopted by Frieda and Robert Griffin of Blaine, TN. I’m not sure at which age she was adopted but I listed her birthday above. I’m not sure if her birth parents are still alive or not but thought I would give it a shot.
531. TBester1990 : My name is Thomas Denzel Bester. I was born in Memphis, TN on December 11th, 1990 at The Med Hospital. It’s now called Regional One. I have two great adoptive parents who have done nothing but provide for me the greatest care and have afforded me an awesome life. But I’ve always had questions about who my birth parents are, especially my birth mother.I ’m getting older and my adoptive parents are older and it’s just brought to perspective how short of a time we have here on earth. Hopefully it’s not too late to find my birth mother although, I know it will still be a challenge because it was a closed adoption. The only information that I know is that at the time of my birth she was 19 and she named me Marcus. I also have at least one other sibling.
532. StevenHart : Just looking to get my parents names, that’s all. Was born in Jackson, TN and was giving to my adopted mother by the name of Priscilla Kaye Hart
533. SarahN1984 : I am searching for a sibling of my children. She was born in Franklin TN and should be in her early to mid 20’s. Her name at the time of adoption was Jessica Noel Ray
534. Daydreamingdaisies : Upon my Grandmother’s passing we found adoption papers hidden for my father. He was adopted into the Miller Family. My grandmother’s birth name is Augustine Dunn (She is his birth Mother and was a legal secretary in the late 1940’s early 1950’s.) Our Dad was adopted by Lee Miller around the time they married, about 1945. My Grandmother had mentioned to my father when joining the military that his birth certificate was burnt in a fire. His ’new’ certificate says he was born Jan 8th, 1949, in Little Rock Arkansas? My dad knows he did have a sister who called once and tried to speak to him. Janet Miller, my Dads Sister, hung up on her and the secret has always been kept. He grew up in Arkansas and Tennessee but majority of his life grade/Highschool was lived out in Arlington TX with Lee and Auggie Miller. My Grandmother’s Maiden name was Dunn. Auggie and Lee had Richard as the oldest, a middle son Andy and a younger Daughter named Janet. My Dad passed 4 years ago and my Sister and I would love to hear his story. Such a sweet soul!!! A fantastic Dad!!! We would love to find out more info!!! We would love to see a picture of his birth father and to find out if he he did indeed have other siblings!! We hope they have had a amazing life just life our Dad has!!! Blessings!!!!
537. Kelliemorgan : I am looking for my birth father who’s name is Michael Joseph Warner. My birth mother’s name was Joan Land. I was born September 5, 1973 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. It was a private adoption. My original name was Crystal Renee Land
538. HollyChristmas1972 : I was born at 6:00 pm CHristmas Day at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. I was adopted via Catholic Charities by a couple who had no other children. My birth mother was 18 and one of three children. The birth father was 20 and had an older brother in college. I think they may have been Irish/Scottish because my DNA was almost 50% that orgin. And the mother was noted to have Italian/Dutch/Swedish. That is all the info I have.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
