They were both adopted by Hallie Ellen Thompson and Charles William Thompson of Columbus, Ohio. The birth mother’s name was Phyllis Edington. She had an older son named Raymond and a daughter (Lisa ?) younger than Lynn/Mark which we understood that she kept and raised. Lynn was adopted soon after birth and Mark when he was around 2 years old. Hallie used to tell a story that Phyllis either went to Tennessee to give birth to Lynn or went soon after birth and Hallie had to go to Tennessee to pick Lynn up. Phyllis had family in Tennessee butt not known if that is where she was born/raised or not. Hallie and Phyllis knew eah other as they worked together at a restaurant in the Columbus area. It is unknown if Lynn/Mark had the same father.
