After an interim period‚ I was admitted to two different foster homes then on December 23rd‚ I was moved into my adoptive home.
Date of legalization of adoption: December 17‚ 1958. Through additional exploration‚ I am trying to piece together a composite sketch of where my adoptive mother might be.
First off‚ she apparently lives somewhere in the province of Alberta‚ near family. She decided on this course of action as she feared disappointing her family. Apparently‚ her family was very religious. Additionally‚ when she apprised my birth father that she was pregnant‚ he revealed that he had a family who lived in Texas. To the best of my knowledge‚ no further contact took place.
Incidentals: My birth mother comes from a large family with many siblings (my biological aunts and uncles). The reason for my search is twofold: to gain a better understanding of my genealogical family tree‚ as it pertains to various medical issues. Also‚ I hope for a better understanding of how our roots affect our outcomes.
