Her mother (my maternal grandmother) came from another country‚ gave birth to her in Barbados‚ and then left her in the care of her aunt before returning to her home country. My birth mother was approximately 5’1”‚ medium brown skin tone‚ and would have been living in Canada around the late 1960s to early 1970s. I was born in The Royal Victoria Hospital in January 1969.
