391. BernardBeatrice : SEARCHING FOR MY SISTER’S BIO-FAMILY.
SHE WAS BORN IN MONTREAL. PARENTS WERE ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - 17 YEARS OLD - ITALIAN AND GREEK - NOT SURE WHICH WAS WHICH ANYMORE BUT SOCIAL WORKER SAID ONE WAS ITALIAN THE OTHER GREEK. BIO-MOM HAD A LARGE FAMILY AND SHE POSSIBLY WENT TO JOHN RENNIE AFTER H.S. THIS WOULD BE SOMETIME IN 78-79. BABY BORN 5-6 WEEKS PREMATURE WITH A FAIRLY LARGE HEART MURMUR. SOCIAL SERVICES ASKED BIO-MOM’S PARENTS TO TAKE CHILD. IN FACT, THE ADOPTION WAS DELAYED FOR OVER A YEAR BECAUSE SOCIAL SERVICES KEPT THINKING THAT GRANDPARENTS WOULD RELENT. THEY REFUSED FROM THE GET GO AND CONTINUED TO REFUSE. THE SOCIAL WORKER NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BIO-DAD’S FAMILY EXCEPT THAT THEY WERE NOT IN THE PICTURE.
SO, NO AGENDA. SHE’S FINE - HER KIDS ARE FINE. SHE HAS HAD A GOOD LIFE WITH US. I JUST WONDER IF SOMEONE IS OUT THERE WONDERING ABOUT HER.
