593. Diane19460418 : My mom (adoptive name Diane Perron) was born on April 18th 1946 and was adopted from hôpital de la miséricorde in montreal when she was 9 months old by Lucien Perron and Anna Provencher who were from Coaticook. The birth mother was 18 years old and was from Gaspésie and the birth father was 25 years old and from Montreal and was a tramway driver in Montreal. I know that her birth mother has past her n 200X (don’t know exact year) but I know she had a breast cancer and emphysema. My mom started to research her birth mother in 2005 I believe but she was told that since the birth mother had passed, she couldn’t get any more information from her. I believe that in that time they needed to give their consent and she had died so couldn’t give her consent for her personal information to be given. My mother Diane Perron has also passed in 2013 from emphysema and I want to find any relatives of hers because she would have loved to fill that gap from her life never getting to meet relatives. She always felt like something was missing from her life and I want to give her that through me. I did a DNA test with Ancestry and I wish this could help find relatives oh hers. I see 2nd cousins there and I wonder if they could be from her side. Please anything that can help me will be welcome.
