466. Cindy75 : what we know is the birth mothers name would of been Jane, she had a french last name.
467. MelanieDaigle : Born Katie Norma Price June 30, 1925 at the Montreal Baby and Foundling Hospital. Nurse Lillian MacKinnon arranged illegal adoption. I think moms dad was a Hickey from my dna matches at Ancestry. Mom moved to Inverness, Quebec September 1925 was illegally, no papers, adopted by Donald and Elizabeth Appleton.
468. Sharonmorrissey : I have just learned that my parents had a daughter before myself. She was born to my mother with the last name Birchmore and adopted in Quebec from a private adoption agency. She was born at the Montreal Jewish general hospital June 24th 1950. We would very much like to connect and meet this sister.
470. SarahJansen : Between 1945 and 1950, my grandmother may have given birth to a baby she gave up for adoption as an infant. She was born in Thetford Mines and lived in Montreal most of her life until she was 21 and emigrated to Singapore.
471. Tinynari : Hello. I am a female born on June 25, 2001 in Daegu. My family name was "Oh" and my given name was Jinhee. My mother arrived a month before she gave birth to me then left, and I was adopted from a family in Quebec, Canada. I am looking for my mother, father, and even any siblings I might have.
472. MDMorash : I was born in Montreal on March 12‚ 1968‚ and adopted shortly after that. I believe this to be true because I have a birth certificate with a registration date of April 5‚ 1968. When I was young‚ I had blond hair that turned brown as I grew‚ but my beard comes in red. I have blue eyes‚ and I am 5’7" tall. I wear glasses‚ and my birth parents may have also worn glasses because my mum was told by the doctor to "watch my eyes" because I would most likely need glasses. Other than that‚ my older brother‚ who was four years old at the time‚ says he can recall picking me up from a big red-bricked building in downtown Montreal. I think the hospital may have been St. Mary’s or Montreal General as they are both large red brick buildings‚ but I’m not sure. St. Mary’s does seem to stick in my mind‚ though. He also said that my mum had mentioned that my father might have been a musician at the time. It’s not a lot to go in‚ and my mum has passed away‚ so I can’t verify what she said‚ but it’s a start.
I‚ myself‚ am a musician (not professional) and a writer.
473. Daugherofadopted1 : My father was born in Quebec Canada in 1955. He was adpoted shortly after and taken to Florida USA. His birth name was Lucien Arnault (or Arnauldt).
476. ShakeYourBoomBoom100 : I found my Biological mom and my half siblings on my mom side. It was a great family meeting with lots of love. Now, I am trying to find out who is my biological father and want to find out if I have other siblings on my paternal side. My mom is from Nova Scotia and I think they met in Nova Scotia in the 70.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
