257. Spicegirl99 : I am looking for a boy who was born in 1962 in Montreal weighing 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and adopted from Montreal also. Birth mother was Shirley Isabel SPICER, 28 years of age, born in Victoria, Australia. She is my aunt. Shirley was an intelligent woman, worked as a typist at the immigration dept in London before sailing to settle in Canada in 1959. She may have been working at the Canadian Red Cross, and the father may have been of East Indian decent, or of unique character, as she was helping a group of them settle into life in Canada. She was approx 5"4, very small frame, blue/hazel eyes and fair hair. Shirley had given up one son prior to this in 1954, and gave a further 2 children up, all to different fathers, a son or daughter in 1964/65 and a daughter 1966 Toronto.
258. Spicegirl99 : I am looking for a girl born 1964 in Montreal, and adopted directly from hospital. This child was stated to have been "quite ill on 3rd day of its life". Birth mother was Shirley Isabelle SPICER, 31 or 32 years of age, born Victoria, Australia. Shirley is my aunt. Shirley may have been working at the Canadian Red Cross or within a Government agency at the time. The childs father may be of East Indian decent, or of unique background/personality. Shirley was approx 5"2 tall, blue/hazel eyes, tiny frame and fair blonde hair.

261. Kelseycrozier : I am searching for anyone on my mothers biological side of the family, she was adopted in Montreal Quebec Canada , her name is Rachel Carol Liberbaum , adopted by Camille Kopel Liberbaum and Sarah (Suzy) Liberbaum
My moms birthday is July 1961
263. Leznoff : My name is Joanne Leznoff(adoptee). I was born in Montreal Quebec on February 25 1959 and was adopted 10 days later in a private adoption. The name of the birthmother was given to me when records were unsealed. It was Eleanora Greene‚ whom I have learned died in 1961. I have not been able to determine the birth father’s name. I believe the birth mother Miss Greene stayed with possibly the attending Obstetrician’s family before the birth. The Doctor’s name I believe was Dr. Portnuff.
Through Ancestry I have been in contact with a few family members from both maternal and paternal sides based on the DNA evidence but am looking for more information.
264. Leznoff : My adopted mother’s boss new the obstetrician Dr portnuff in Montreal where i was born on Feb 25, 1959 I believe at Montreal Jewish General, the adoption was private not through an agency. My understanding is the biological mother stayed at the home of Dr. Portnuff but that is debatable. As a child I was very ill and my adoptive parents tried any means to get biological information to see if it was a hereditary disease, at that time but were unsuccessful. I have just had my DNA done through Ancestry.
266. DarianLevesque07 : My name is Darian Levesque, my mother Victoria Eves delivered a boy in August 1987 at the lakeshore hospital in Pointe Claire Montreal.
267. Yvon1951 : I don’t know my real birth date because the doctor did not put the real birth date on certificate . I was born in Val-d’Or, at that time it was Taschereau private hospital. That hospital burned down with all the information.
270. Jessicaroberts1985 : Hi there. I’m looking for my brother. His name at birth was Sacha Nemiroff. Born February 25th 1970. He was adopted through Jewish Family Services in Montreal, Quebec. I have been dreaming about meeting my brother since I found out when I was 13. Efforts were made to find him but it never happened. My mom has passed away recently and this has renergized my need to find him. She thought of him every day for her whole life and it would be a dream for me to finally get connected with him. I just don’t want to go another day without know who my brother is. Life is too short!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
