I do not know the hospital I was born at but my adoption was arranged through the Red Feather Clinic on Atwater Street. I was also told that the name given to me at birth was Marlese Laverne. I have no idea if any of this information is correct.

One of the agencie’s name (or perhaps the orphan name) who worked on her adoption is: La Sauvegarde de I’ Enfance. All she was told was that her father was a married man (married to another woman other than her mother) . She was adopted by a couple who couldn’t have kids of their own, they were from Puertorrican descendant. I’m searching for my grandmother and family on behalf of her because she doesn’t speaks the language that well as I do, but she is very much willing to meet her mother/family.
